Movie-Based Movie Blogs

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if film blogs took their titles, grading scales, and perhaps taglines from favorite films. Now this is just a musing of mine. It’s not my usual post, but I couldn’t get it out of my mind, and I thought it might be fun to share with you all. Below, I have listed some fictional film blogs based on films themselves as well as possible grading scales and taglines that may be associated.

(Note that you may need some level of familiarity with the source films to get the “joke” behind the taglines and the grading scales.)

Please hit “read more” to look at my musing.

  1. Really like that idea! The scale of 12 would be very hard to fill in I guess ;)

Last year I had this “trailer” made for My Filmviews:

  2. You definitely put a lot of thought into this, and it shows!

So Batman is a Jehovah’s Witness, eh?

  3. Creative idea. I like it!

  5. This is really awesome. Especially loved the ones from “ClichéReview.com” and the ones from Batman and Star Wars. Although, don’t you think the ones from 12 Angry Men if they were inverted? Unanimous being the best, then 1 through 11 Angry Critics and the worst would be riot.
