A Scheduling Update
Hello followers:
This has been an idea I’ve neglected for a while; I guess I found it was time to take it off the back burner. I’ve decided, rather than barraging you all with my critiques, to schedule them so that you can expect a review to go up on my blog, rather than being surprised by the random timing, not noticing the updates in your email, or getting too many reviews each day. I will be watching several films each weekend, as I’ve said previously, but I will schedule each review to go up the next day at 10:00 EDT*** (and when daylight saving time ends, my reviews will still go up at ten in the morning). And if I watch two films in one day, Film Review #1 will go up the next morning, and Film Review #2 will go up the morning after that. Please don’t be afraid to tell me if my wording isn’t very clear; I’m not too sure myself.
I did try to find this time accordingly. I realize quite a lot of you guys live in different time zones. Most of you fit within the times of UTC-08:00 and UTC±00:00, so that means (for example) if you live in California, you can find each coming review at 7:00 AM, and if you live in the U.K., you can do so at 3:00 PM.
Still confused? Against/for the update? Any other questions? Please leave a comment!
Peace wherever and whenever possible.

***If something goes wrong when I schedule at that time, the backup plan is for a 4:15 PM posting. I’m pretty obsessive-compulsive about this kind of stuff, so just bear with me. It’ll get straightened out at some point.
If I live in Omaha, Nebraska (which I do) what time will I receive your emails? Will I be receiving your emails during the weekday or during the weekend? Will I be receiving your reviews in the morning, in the afternoon, or in the evening/night? Please let me know as soon as you can by email!! If and when you need to email me AT ANY TIME, please contact me at my email address at:

I sent you an email response first, just in case you didn’t get a chance to read a comment reply, but for anyone who comes across this post and the comments section, my response is pasted below:
Cool. I’m for the update. I do this too.
Do you often get a “missed schedule” message? Just curious, because I actually scheduled this post for 7:30 (EDT) originally, and then upon checking back at the dashboard twelve minutes later, the post was labeled in yellow: “missed schedule–12 minutes”. If not, then I’ll just hope that somehow that’ll never happen to any of my reviews.
Yes, I sometimes get that too. The review won’t go up until after I log in to WordPress. Very strange.
So I guess that means I have to plan around the error message or delay for days on end. :/
Cool man. I always schedule my posts (do most of my writing on Sunday evening) and I usually watch more movies than I actually write about, so it’s a nice way to do it.
You watch more movies than you write about?
Yeah, I do. It’s quite nice being able to pick which ones I will do so.
I do the same thing – It seems to help. It also takes some stress off your shoulders.
I’ll be writing reviews right after I have devoured each film; the scheduling is all that shall change. So I’ll have to see about the “stress off [my] shoulders” part.
I actually don’t mind being surprised
I post my stuff sporadically, sometimes in the morning, sometimes at night, just whenever I’m in the mood of posting.
